Sharyland's Lee Wins State Golf Title
GEORGETOWN - Sharyland senior Jun Min Lee wrapped up his high school career by capturing the gold medal at the 5A state golf tournament Tuesday.
The Texas A&M commit recorded a two-day score of 137 (68, 69) for a four-stroke advantage over silver medalist Kevin Watts from Colleyville Heritage.
Lee is the first Valley golfer to win a UIL state title since San Isidro's Elijio Ramirez, Jr accomplished the feat in 1991.
