HARLINGEN, Texas -- Harlingen South softball has showcased dominance on the field all season long. The Lady South Hawks are 16-0 in District 32-5A and have outscored their opponents 218-11.

Weslaco native pro-boxer Brandon "The Heartbreaker" Figueroa will be back in the ring this May to take on Jessie Magdaleno in the Canelo Undercard.
Channel 5 News' Bella Michaels spoke with Figueroa to talk about how he's been preparing these days over in Las Vegas for the fight.
The fight is scheduled for May 4.

Harlingen's Faith Franklin eyes setting records at Area Track & Field Meet

HARLINGEN, Texas -- Faith Franklin is running to make her last year at Harlingen High count. She's already won gold in the 400 meter dash at the New Balance Nationals Indoor Championships in Boston last month, now she's hoping to break records at this year's Area Track & Field Meet.
