CAMERON COUNTY - A state investigation is underway into alleged misuse of benefits by SNAP recipients.

The Cameron County District Attorney is still working on their part of the investigation. 

The investigation involved more than 100 SNAP recipients, a Brownsville meat market and the meat market's "associate."
