MERCEDES – A tenant at a Mercedes apartment complex says she’s been waiting for a repair for about a month.

Dayra Cuevas’ home has been without a properly working air conditioner during the hot weather.

While it was 90 degrees outside, her home was 82 inside, and humid as well.

"Since the start of the month, I told him that we were dealing with the A/C, but he hasn't done anything," says Cuevas.

She called 5 ON YOUR SIDE for help.

KRGV’s Christin von Preysing contacted the owner of the apartments about the situation.

The owner explained she is behind on rent payments.
