Early voting results show Webb County Judge Tano Tijerina leading in the race for the 28th Congressional District.

Tijerina has 7,659, or more than 76 percent of early votes. He is up against newcomer Eileen Day, who has 2,391, or nearly 24 percent of early votes.

All election results are unofficial until they’ve been canvassed.
