A single-vehicle accident on eastbound Expressway 83 in Weslaco is causing traffic delays.

First responders are removing an overturned concrete truck and cleaning up about 50 gallons of spilled diesel, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

The accident has caused a full closure of the Westgate exit, and eastbound traffic is being stopped. Motorists are asked to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.

The closure is expected to last about two hours.
