Brownsville city officials want to make streets safer for cyclists, and they're asking residents to help figure out how.

The city has a new survey out asking about experiences, concerns and problems people have while riding bikes.

City planners say they will use the responses to figure out where changes are needed.

"There might just need to be some street cleanings or trail markings. I'd like to see some more wayfinding signs and directional signage because I think that's super helpful for getting around," Brownsville Bicycle and Pedestrian Senior Planner Eva Garcia said.

The survey closes Sept. 8, 2026. Click here to access it.
