Brownsville Hanna senior pitcher Sebastian Escamilla will play at the collegiate level after signing his letter of intent to Frank Phillips University.

Escamilla had a sub-2.00 ERA and 87 total strikeouts this past season, ranking fourth on MaxPreps in Texas among 6A pitchers.

"It feels amazing," Escamilla said. "It's been my lifelong dream. I've been working hard at this just trying to perfect my craft and today's finally the day that I get to sign and next year I'm ready to play at the collegiate level."
