Alton community gathers to honor victims in triple murder case
The Alton community held a vigil Sunday night for three murder victims.
The vigil was held outside of the victims' family home. Dozens of residents from the community came out to honor them. The community placed flowers and black bows around the property.
Gaurav Chopra, 19, is accused of killing his father, mother, and grandmother. He is facing a capital murder charge after allegedly shooting his three family members.

Chopra also reportedly shot at his brother but missed. The brother spoke at the vigil in honor of his parents and grandmother. He expressed gratitude for those who came out.
Chopra is being held without bond in Hidalgo County Jail.
