Woman Concerned with BBQ Smoke from Nearby Business
RIO GRANDE CITY – A Starr County resident worries a barbeque restaurant next door is detrimental to her health.
Geraldine Castaneda says almost every morning she wakes up to smoke coming in from underneath her doors and penetrating their clothes.
“It’s when they open the BBQ pit. When all the smoke comes out and it flourishes our yard,” she says.
Castaneda says calls to the city’s code enforcement department yielded no results.
