UTRGV women's soccer is coming off its first win of the regular season under head coach Nataki Stewart.

The focus now shifts to earning their first road win of the campaign when the Vaqueros take on Tarleton on Thursday evening.

UTRGV has never beaten Tarleton having three loses and a tie in the head-to-head matchup. For Coach Stewart, the objective is to continue staking positive results and seeing constant improvement from the players.

"I'm excited to now build on what we did last week," Stewart said. "Last week is in the past and now the preparation and attention to detail as we head into Thursday is super important for us."

First whistle for the match between UTRGV and Tarleton is set for 7 pm on Thursday in Stephenville, Texas.
