UTRGV star middle blocker and RGV native Julianna Bryant is coming off a career game this past weekend.

The former Harlingen Lady Cardinal posted a new career-high with 17 kills to go along eight blocks (which also nearly matched another season-high) as the Vaqueros took down LSU New Orleans.

“It was really nice. I didn’t know I actually had a new career-high, so it was really cool,” Bryant said. “Last year… New Orleans was a career-high, so beating that against them was a little full circle moment.”

Bryant is also 24 kills away from setting a new single-season career high in her college career. The Vaqueros have six games left including two coming up this week against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi as part of the South Texas Showdown.
