UTRGV football fans can now request tickets for arguably the biggest road game in program history so far.

The Vaqueros face UTSA in San Antonio on Saturday, September 5 this upcoming season. It will be the first time the team plays against a Division I FBS program.

Fans can submit ticket requests at goutrgv.com/utsatickets. Submitting a request does not guarantee a ticket.

The UTRGV Athletic Department will hand out tickets based on its loyalty point program. The number of tickets a fan can request also depends on their loyalty point standing.

The deadline to submit a request is July 6, 2026. Starting July 13, 2026, UTRGV will begin distributing tickets based on loyalty point order.

Once a ticket request is fulfilled, fans have 24 hours to submit payment to secure their tickets.
