PHARR – Residents in a Pharr neighborhood say drivers aren’t obeying the law at an intersection.

Residents say drivers aren’t following the stop signs at the intersection of east Kathy Avenue and north Kumquat Street so they contacted 5 ON YOUR SIDE.

A CHANNEL 5 NEWS crew made a visit and saw a total of four cars passing by the stop sign at a three-way stop in less than an hour.

“It is frustrating because there might be a car coming out, you might be pulling out, and they're not even stopping,” says resident Ruben Ramirez.

KRGV’s Sierra Pizarro reached out to Pharr Police Department and found out they will be checking with their dispatch team to see if any reports have been made.
