McAllen High's Isabella Rivera signs with Texas Lutheran volleyball
Isabella Rivera signed her national letter of intent to continue playing volleyball at Texas Lutheran University on Tuesday.
Being able to stay close to home was one of the reasons why TLU was the perfect fit for her.
"I got in contact with their coaches and we stayed in contact throughout the years. We kept them updated with film and I really like the fact that they’re a lot closer. A lot of the other colleges that I was looking at were out of state."
During her time at McAllen, she reached over 750 kills, over 125 blocks and more than 100 aces.
She was named District 31-5A co-Outstanding Blocker of the Year after leading the Lady Bulldogs to a regional semifinal appearance during her senior season.
