Harvest Christian's senior point guard Jamie Gonzalez commits to Nelson University women's basketball after signing her letter of intent on Wednesday afternoon. 

Gonzalez is a four-time 1A TAAPS state champion and reached the 3,000 career points scored with the Lady Eagles.

Jamie is joining her older sister Ashley Gonzalez who is also part of the Nelson University women's basketball team.

"It's a really good environment," Gonzalez said. "I've been there several times because my sister goes there, so I've been able to see the girls and people there and how they interact. It's just a God-centered environment and somewhere I'd want to be."
