Colin Allred speaks with small business owners during Valley visit
Congressman Colin Allred, who's looking to unseat Senator Ted Cruz in November, stopped by a San Juan bakery during a Wednesday visit.
Allred discussed issues facing small business owners at the bakery, Corey’s Cakes.
“I always like to talk to small business owners wherever I go,” Allred said. “To me, they're our best employers. They often know their communities so well."
Allred says relief for small businesses is a priority for him, and would continue to be one if he's elected to the senate.
“I've been a big proponent of creating small business assistance, but that's only one part of it, “Allred said. “The other part is making sure small business owners know about it, that they can access it."
