Weslaco Man Seeks Answers after Company Leaves Pool Unfinished
WESLACO - A Weslaco man wants his pool finished, but he says the company is refusing.
Jesus Rodriguez signed a contract with All Valley Pools in September of 2018 before the June floods.
He says he's still waiting for work to be complete a year later and is even calling it a safety issue now.
“Somebody can fall in there whatever a lot of dust going in my windows," says Rodriguez.
CHANNEL 5 NEWS reached out to All Valley Pools owner Albert Sandoval.
"I never put a completion date on my contracts because of uh weather conditions,” he says.
Sandoval explained how long it usually takes for a job like Rodriguez.
"I always say six to eight weeks normally but with the rain in June… For us it's a domino effect for construction from one job to another job to another job,” he says.
Rodriguez signed his contract in September 2018; this means Sandoval had eight months to finish the pool before the June floods of this year.
Sandoval explains that Rodriguez is not the only customer dealing with this.
