PHARR – A local couple is looking after a new home after poor living conditions remain the same.
A couple CHANNEL 5 NEWS spoke to in November is still looking for a safer and more permanent home.
“I don't want money. I just need someone to help me find a place to live,” Maria Lopez says.
The couple says they haven’t found a landlord willing to accept $300 to $400 a month for rent.
KRGV’s Christian Von Preysing spoke to the Hidalgo County Community Service Agency who say their case worker will get in touch with the couple to try to help.
