HARLINGEN – A local woman says her purse is missing from her vehicle.

Geanne Goreham says she left her purse in her vehicle at a local convenience store, but when she returned her purse was gone.

"When I came back out the door was unlocked, and my purse was gone," she says,

Goreham says she has filed a report with the Harlingen Police Department.

Police say residents should always park in well-lit areas and take valuables out of vehicles.

Goreham hopes this will be resolved soon.
