World War II Veteran Killed at Pearl Harbor Laid to Rest in Raymondville

RAYMONDVILLE - A World War Two veteran who was killed during the attack on Pearl Harbor laid to rest in Raymondville Saturday. 

Victor Patrick 'Pat' Tumlinson was 19 years old when he died. 

His niece described the telegrams the family received. 

"One was saying that he had been killed and the other that the remains could not be identified or returned." said Cathy Ayers. 

Through DNA testing, Tumlinson was able to be brought back to his hometown and receive a proper burial 78 years after his death.
