Women’s Health & Fitness Summit to be held in Harlingen this Thursday
A free Women’s Health & Fitness Summit featuring free health screenings, food, music, brief presentations by local doctors, and a chance to ask questions to a panel of obstetricians / gynecologists will be held this Thursday (October 3) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Harlingen Convention Center, 701 Harlingen Heights Drive.
The Prime Healthcare 1st Annual Women’s Health & Fitness Summit of South Texas is free and open to the public -- with all Valley women invited to stop by during their lunch break this Thursday.
The unique event is being held as part of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October. Presentations on breast cancer awareness and other aspects of women’s health will include the following:
