Willacy Co. Migrant Center to Hire 600 Employees
RAYMONDVILLE – A center for migrant children in Raymondville is creating job opportunities.
Wayne Lowery, the project subcontractor, says it’s going well and thinks the New Day Resiliency Center will be completed in mid-November.
As CHANNEL 5 NEWS reported, the facility is located in the former Walmart, off I-69E.
Lowery says the recent drop in the number of people crossing the border won’t impact plans.
