EDINBURG – Our team combed through hundreds of documents and to uncover what appeared to be voter fraud tied to the Edinburg city election in 2017.

KRGV’s Angelo Vargas spoke with our very own, Michael Scott, who first reported on the voter fraud investigation with Tilting the Scale and Tilting the Scale Part II.

Edinburg Mayor Richard Molina and his wife were both charged with felonies in connection to an election fraud case and turned themselves in to investigators Thursday.

Our team found information on changed addresses – one of which was a building owned by Molina.

A total of 18 people have been arrested so far in the investigation and the District Attorney says they’re not done.
