MISSION – A Valley man is facing charges for indecency with a child by exposure, a third degree felony.

David Garza, 37, will be arraigned on Thursday, Sept 19.

On Aug. 30 authorities responded to a report of a man exposing himself.

When Sheriff’s Deputies arrived, the 17-year-old victim said an unknown man driving a white car had exposed himself to her, as she waited for the school bus.

The victim explained the man stopped in front of her home and asked her for directions.

As the victim approached the vehicle, she saw the man’s pants were lowered to his knees and he was touching his genitals.

On Sept. 12, a second report of a man driving a white SUV and exposing himself to a 15-year-old girl was also filed.

As the victim walked home, she noticed a white SUV drove up beside her and an unknown man asked her for directions.

The victim approached the vehicle and observed the man was exposing and touching his genitals.

Crime Against Persons Investigators then located a vehicle matching the description.

A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as 37-year-old, David Garza.

Garza was taken to the Sheriff’s Office to be interviewed, where he later provided a voluntary statement admitting to exposing himself to both victims.
