One construction company has been serving the Rio Grande Valley for almost five decades. 

D&J Site Construction President Karla Goldammer said her father started the business on his birthday in 1971. 

After 49 years in the business, the company continues to grow. 

“We've opened up two new divisions this year, we've gone into a maintenance division,” Goldammer said. “Helping property owners maintain their commercial sites, their parking lots, their sidewalks.”
