MCALLEN - A nine-year old student at Milam Elementary in McAllen started her own fundraiser to help a country thousands of miles away devastated by wildfires.

She's designing and selling t-shirts with the proceeds going to Australian wildlife.

Caylee Beth's mom describes her as a kid who would give someone the shirt off her back, but Caylee took it one step further, selling 150 shirts in under two months, all to raise money to help down under.

Anyone wanting to purchase a shirt can use the money-transfering app Venmo, and write the size, address and phone number in the caption. The Venmo handle is @EmmaGene-Bocanegra.
