Texas DPS Investigating Fatal Auto-Pedestrian Accident
UPDATE: DPS Troopers are releasing more information about a fatal auto-pedestrian crash in Edinburg.
A preliminary investigation shows a Dodge Ram hit a person who failed to yield the right-of-way.
The driver remained at the scene until authorities arrived.
An update on the identity of the deceased will be released after family is notified.
EDINBURG - The Texas Department of Public Saftey is investigating a fatal auto-pedestrian in Edinburg.
It happened between Doolittle Rd. and Cesar Chavez Rd. on FM 1925 Saturday morning.
The identity of the person who was killed has not been released.
According to D.P.S., lanes on eastbound FM 1925 will be closed.
