San Juan park named after former Hidalgo County commissioner
A San Juan park is now named after a long-time Hidalgo County commissioner.
The park on Earling Road is now known as the Hector "Tito" Palacios Park. A special dedication ceremony was held Friday morning.
Palacios was the Precinct 2 commissioner for 16 years. He helped improve the quality of life for neighbors in the colonias in the PSJA area.
