Passenger Vehicles May Cross Pharr-Reynosa Int'l Bridge in Hopes to Reduce Traffic
PHARR – On Monday, passenger vehicles were again allowed to cross at the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge from Mexico to the U.S.
The change is in an effort to reduce wait times during the busy holiday season.
Passenger vehicles will be allowed to cross from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and then again from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., only commercial traffic will be allowed to cross the bridge.
The new hours are only for the holiday season; no word on if it will become a permanent change.
