Palmview Residents Frustrated over Delay of Construction on Sewage Project
PALMVIEW – Many residents in Palmview have grown frustrated with the mess, traffic and dangers a sewage project brought.
The project construction site is off La Homa Road and Veterans Boulevard.
This week, Agua Special Utility District decided to fire the company they had hired to build the project, releasing a statement saying in part:
“OG Construction is months behind schedule and its work contains uncorrected deficiencies. Despite ample notice and months of time to address it.”
Many residents are now worried the project will start from scratch when Agua SUD find a new company to finish the job, pushing the complete date back even further.
