MCALLEN – A group consisting of four students proved their abilities by building a 3-D printer.

The 3-D printer was made from scratch by the team along with their professor.

The group presented their project at the Third Annual Student by Student Technology and Leadership Conference where hundreds of students gathered to share new methods in the field of technology.

GEAR UP student Paola Hernandez says she’s proud to see girls be a part of the conference.

KRGV’s Carolina Cruz introduces the team who hope to be a voice for other young girls interested in this field.
