Local CIS Instructor: Careers in Technology Proving to be Promising
BROWNSVILLE – A professor at Texas Southmost College says placement for technology careers is promising.
Blanca Lozano is a teacher for the school’s computer information system program. With experience in the field over the past six years, she shares the skills she developed with her students.
“We are always doing the research, always investigating new technology,” she says. “We’re preparing ourselves so that we can bring to the classroom the latest technology that is out there.”
GEAR UP student Ezequiel Hernandez attests to that. He says in his first year of college, he’s learned a lot more about job options in his career path.
