EDINBURG – Diabetes can cause damage but there are things you can do to improve it, starting with exercise.
Exercise doesn’t just strengthen muscles and bones, it raises blood glucose levels and makes your body more sensitive to insulin.
South Texas Diabetic and Metabolic Institute exercise interventionist Isaac Medina says the World Health Organization recommends people exercise 300 minutes a day.
