HARLINGEN – Authorities have released more information of what was siezed from the Harlingen teen accused of possessing chemicals to make explosives.

Joel Hayden Schrimsher, 19, was arrested two weeks ago.

He was charged with making threats against religious groups and having components of explosives.

According to court documents, he posted anonymously on Twitter: "I'm going to set fire to a mosque then shoot up a synagogue."

In a separate post he commented, "I'm gonna mail a bomb to the federal reserve."

Schrimsher was interviewed later and said he was joking. 

Investigators searched his home and found specific amounts of potassium nitrate, sulfur, aluminum and red iron oxide.

They also found in his bedroom hand-written instructions on how to make a fuse, nitroglycerine, thermite, flash powder and black powder.

His phone was also searched.

According to the criminal affidavits, investigators found pro-Nazi, white supremacist and anti-minority imagery.

A cellphone also had images of the Columbine shooters and pictures showing Schrimsher looking like them.

He was issued a $1 million dollar bond; he remains in custody at last check.
