MCALLEN – A Rio Grande Valley toddler battling cancer turns two years old next month. A stranger is making it his goal to give this little boy an extra special birthday.

On July 31, Adan Farias and Karla Garcia found out their son Adan had stage four neuroblastoma.

Through a car show the family met Mark Vidales, a stranger who wanted to help.

Adan turns two in January and Vidales wants to make sure it's a special day.

"This is literally would be the biggest birthday party ever thrown in the Valley for a little 2-year-old boy," says Vidales.

Adan's birthday party will be Saturday Jan. 11 at the Desperado Harley-Davidson shop in McAllen and everyone is welcome to attend.
