BROWNSVILLE – A newly revamped kitchen is now being used for Big Heroes program.

It's a program for young adults with special needs who can no longer attend public schools.

The Leadership Brownsville Class 34 raised money to rebuild a kitchen to help teach young adults life skills and kitchen safety.

"What they teach them here and what they learn here to do is what you and I take for granted," said Cameron County District Attorney Luis Saenz.
