MISSION - The Killam Development purchased 3,400 acres of land in the south Mission and south McAllen area.

The family owned company says they want input from the surrounding community to decide exactly what can be built on the property.

Killam has been in business for more than 100 years in South Texas.

They're inviting the community to workshops that will be held next year for their input.

“We want the people to tell us what they want to see here, so we want the help of the public to tell us what to do in this area,” they said.
